*Freebie* “Home” Printable Decor

Funny story… We met our next door neighbors.

Now, I’m not trying to be besties with all of our neighbors. I’m just not that social of a person. However, I want to know my neighbors. I want Aden to know the neighbors in case something happens. I do love the idea of a “community.” And hey, maybe we would actually make some new friends.

Our first full weekend in the house was crazy. We had Aden’s birthday on Saturday and trying to move/paint/clean & prepare for a party was almost unmanageable. So the morning of his party, while getting ready, the doorbell rings. We have stuff everywhere, half painted walls, the dog is going crazy barking like a psycho, Aden is wearing a t-shirt & undies (his version of jammies) peeking out from the kitchen, Chris hasn’t showered, and then there’s me.  My hair was in a half bun on top of my head since I was flat ironing it, makeup half done, wearing Chris’s t-shirt, baggy sweatpants, and fuzzy slippers. Definitely not prepared for company. We finally open the front door to a super cute, very put together couple who were going on a walk. They even brought a little gift to welcome us to the neighborhood. Seriously, so sweet. They very awkwardly asked us if it was a bad time. We tried to say no, that it was ok, but it was clear that we were just a hot mess. Oh. And did I mention that couldn’t uncross my arms to shake their hand because I wasn’t wearing a bra? Oh. my. goodness. Embarrassed is not even the word to describe the feeling I have about that morning. I really want to go over to their house and apologize and thank them for the gift… and convince them that we are actually really nice people and aren’t weirdos all the time. Still haven’t gotten up the courage though. UGH.

Anyway… we still don’t totally have it all together. Every day is different. Some days we paint. Some days we do projects. Some days we watch Netflix. It’s our journey and we aren’t rushing it. I can’t always write blog posts for all of our updates, but I decided to start a new Instagram for the blog. (My personal Instagram has to stay private, but that’s another story for another day… maybe.) Soo go follow me there & keep up to date on our home progress and whatever else we decide to share: littleblondemom 🙂

Now, I’m going to pretend you read all of that and didn’t just come for the freebies… Either way, onto the “home” printable decor that was inspired by us moving. Enjoy!
