So, I am the first to admit that I am terrible at keeping plants alive. I try & try and THINK I’m doing ok, then BAM, dead. Yep, I suck.
Now flowers – flowers die anyway. I love grabbing an inexpensive bunch from Target while getting groceries and then enjoying fresh flowers for a few days (maybe a week or two if I’m lucky). I know they’re temporary and that’s alright. Except for when it’s not alright. Like now… when I wanted to do an *extremely* simple table refresh for spring. I had a vision of clear vases & pale pink tulips. I wanted the flowers to last, so artificial was the only option.
Drove my butt to Hobby Lobby – the flowers looked too shiny and fake, then Michael’s – had NONE, and then everyone raved about the tulips in the Target Dollar Spot. I checked them out and they were just ehh, ok. Not what I was looking for.
Enter, Amazon. I have gotten faux Eucalyptus on there before and it was pretty good. I searched for artificial tulips & scoured reviews. Reviewer’s photos are gold when trying to find out what a product is REALLY like. I found a listing with good reviews & figured with Prime & easy returns, I didn’t have anything to lose.

Turns out, they are honestly the best artificial flowers I’ve EVER purchased. And I, the plant killer, have bought a lot of fake flowers. The petals feel real, seriously. The color is perfect and they look so beautiful. They were under $1 per tulip, I paid $24.99 for 30 tulips. Can’t beat that!

Look at the gorgeous quality of the flowers. They do not have a shiny plastic look like some from craft stores and they actually have texture like a real flower!

Now, in full transparency, I will tell you that a couple of the tulips came damaged. With any item, this can happen in shipping. Amazon credited me for the damaged tulips (I did NOT want to return them!) and then I actually later decided to use Elmer’s glue to “fix them.” Can’t even tell.

Basically, I’m obsessed with the tulips and can’t wait to get more. They come in more colors & I have my eye on some white ones! One of my BEST Amazon finds ever.
