For the record, I had soo many plans to decorate our porch for Halloween. Like go-all-out decorate. What happened to those plans? Life. Crazy crazy life.
So in a rushed attempt to get SOMETHING festive on our front door, I decided against a traditional wreath. I needed something fast, easy, and of course, cheap!
I love how it turned out & it was easy peasy – so I wanted to pop on and share!
I picked up some wood letters from Michaels & painted them outside with my favorite spray paint, in Robin’s Egg Matte. It only took a couple light coats to get the perfect color.

After they fully dried, I used some cream colored twine to connect all the letters together. I knotted the back of the loops & then put a little hot glue on the knots to make sure they wouldn’t unravel.

Of course I had to make a big bow to go on top too! I love the polka dots.

Here’s how it looks on our navy door!

This was by far one of the easiest DIY projects I’ve done recently and definitely one of my favorites!
