Can you believe it’s June? Seems like summer break is already just flying by. My kiddo has already been in summer (day) camp for 2 weeks now! And the 4th of July is less than a month away!!
The 4th of July is one of my favorite & least favorite holidays. On one hand, I love America, what we stand for, our history, and the meaning behind the holiday. On the other hand, brace yourself, I do not like fireworks. I know, just call me the Scrooge of Independence Day. Well 1. Fireworks are dangerous & I’m a worrier (ha, understatement of the year)… 2. I hate loud noises. Screeching, high pitched, big booms, all of it. I don’t like any of it. Pretty? Yes. Enjoyable for my ears? Nope.
Ha, moving on. With the holiday coming up quick, I rounded up some of my favorite patriotic decorations that won’t break the bank!

How cute is this stuff? Obviously, I’m a huge fan of Etsy since 95% of this post was items from Etsy Shops! Don’t get me wrong, I love Target & other stores just as much as the next girl, but if I have time to order on Etsy (sometimes handmade items take longer to ship), I’d much rather go that route. I always have grand plans to decorate for every holiday, but end up doing nothing. Last year I did make a red, white and blue scrap fabric wreath, so I’ll actually have something to hang this 4th of July. I love the idea of buying pillow covers and just switching them out. That would be so easy!
